Thanks to Finger Lakes TV for a great job recording and editing the talk.

On March 8, 2017, Rob and Carole spoke to an audience of students, faculty and community members at Keuka College.  Many in the audience were the youngest yet to hear the presentation.  Most seemed puzzled by the concept of keeping and driving an old car.  In anticipation of that, we added a few slides and comments about why people like vintage cars.

On January 25, 2018 Rob and Carole presented on Route 20 and the While We Still Can Trip to the Pfaudler Lecture Series of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology.  The group of 65 senior citizens proved to be an enthusiastic audience…at least a dozen said they had once owned an MG or other British car.  The talk was followed by a lively question and answer period including the usual question (from a lady) about how Carole made it through the heat and lack of luggage without leaving me.

On May 10, 2018, Carole and Rob presented the While We Still Can show to the Torch Club in Batavia, New York.  More than 50 club members from Rochester, Batavia, Buffalo, and Erie, Pa. enjoyed the talk and asked many questions about the car and the trip.  It is so enjoyable to see the older participants smile as they reminisce about the old road and historic links to the Finger Lakes area.  More than one older gentleman had a tear in the eye thinking about British cars they once owned.

AS the COVID pandemic starts to break, we are back in demand.  On February 15, 2022 we did our Route20 presentation to 90 people for the Fairport, New York Historical Society.  Since we hit capacity, we are repeating the presentation on April 27, 2022.
